What is your current obsession?
I’ve been listening to this Bing Crosby “Greatest Hits” album on the way to work each day for the past week. It’s old-timey, creepy, and weird. Plus I think anyone can sing like that.
What is your weirdest obsession?
If the numbers on my digital alarm clock total up to 13, I can’t get out of bed. I have to wait another minute. That’s not really an obsession though, more a low level OCD issue.
What do you see outside your window?
Dismally grey, Conshohocken, PA. It should be noted that sunny, Conshocken, PA isn’t that much nicer.
What is your favorite color?
Kind of blue.
What is your weakness?
Drinking milk kicks my ass, but every now and then I’ll go for a giant glass then be hobbled for the rest of the evening.
What animal would you be?
Lazer beast. A beast that shoots lazers.
What would you like to learn how to do?
Learn how to enjoy waking up at 6:30am every weekday. I haven’t figured that out yet.
What do you want to never happen in life?
For our dog to actually catch a deer, rabbit, or other variety of animal. He chases them on occasion, but has yet to make any contact.
What is on your bedside table?
My gloriously crappy nature-sound emitting alarm clock, whatever book I’m currently reading, and a Buddha Machine.
What’s the last thing you bought?
Snickers bar. I’m in my bulk phase.
What do you think about the person that tagged you?
She’s one glorious lady and a wonderful wife. The only person on earth who can always make me laugh.
What was your favorite children’s book?
“Pat the Bunny” or “Little Pig”
Who do you want to meet in person?
I think I’d be awed by David Bowie.
What did you want to be as a child?
Baseball umpire.
What did you dream about last night?
Last night was dreamless, but our dog had to be dreaming about eating sticks or being able to read or something.
Which do you prefer, day or night?
I used to be purely pro-night before, but I think I’m changing my vampiric ways.
What’s your favorite piece of clothing in your closet?
Not really a clothes horse, but I like shirts with roll-up-able sleeves (i.e. going Howard Dean).
What’s your plan for tomorrow?
Beachbeachbeachbeach.
What would you like to get your hands on right now?
A sandwich from Pantera…er, Panera.
What’s your favorite tea flavor?
Six months ago, I would’ve gone with Oolong, but I’m now off drinking tea. I’ve joined the coffee drinking masses.
If you could go anywhere is the world right now, where would you go?
Bhutan.
What are you looking forward to?
Trip to Amsterdam in the fall. A possible birthday party at Jump U.
What is something that you really want to do but don’t have the nerve to?
Skydive.
